1. You may return directly to Gainesville. Always feel free to hike and head home to fulfill your other obligations.
2. Jeremy has reserved a campsite. Hikers who would like to share fellowship around the campfire or cook lunch are invited to do so. See below under meals for details. |
*Meet-ups will only take place if the hike planner knows there will be people at the designated locations waiting to join the group. Make sure the planner knows your plans!

Any of our hikers who would like to cook out or fix hot chocolate, coffee, etc. on the campfire after the hike are invited to do so. Jeremy has reserved a campsite at Unicoi for the weekend.
You should plan on bringing whatever you would like to grill, your utensils, plates, and beverages. Jeremy will provide the campsite and charcoal for the fire.
You may share the cookout with Jeremy whether you hike that Saturday - or not! If you want to visit his campsite and cookout you MUST let Jeremy know as we are limited to 6-8 people.

2.5 mile loop. Compacted Soil Surface.
A mostly flat loop trail winding around Unicoi Lake (53 acres) provides views of Unicoi Lake and surrounding mountains.
Pick up a tree identification guide in the visitors center. |
