SPECIAL NOTICE Regarding October 2013 Hike & Camping Trips
As of Tuesday October 1, 2013 the US Government has issued an order to shut down nonessential services. This order includes the National Park Service and National Forest Service, as well as a host of others. Due to this order our trips planned for October have either been canceled / relocated or are in a pending status!
Smokemont / Great Smoky Mountains National Park Trip
This trip has been canceled and re located to Elijah Clark State Park in Lincolnton, Ga. We will still camp and hike just in another location. Please contact Co-Chair Jeremy Landers for information on this event.
Appalachian Trail Hike
The Appalachian Trail is officially closed in most National Park and National Forest areas.
This trip is therefore in a "Pending" Status
